NIFT Bangalore has active collaboration with international universities. It welcomes students from Ensait and STC regularly on its campus. 
NIFT Bangalore conducts 3 weeks short term academic program customised for STC students as per their requirements, since the inception of exchange almost 10 years back.  Many Ensait students also take up their semester exchange at NIFT Bangalore in the area of Fashion Management. The Institute also regularly hosts students from Saxion University, Netherlands. 
The Institute also witnesses many of its own students regularly selected for exchange programs at Fashion Institute of Technology, New York; ENSAIT, France; Queensland University of Technology, New Zealand; AMFI, Amsterdam; Bunka, Japan to name a few.
The institute encourages best practices in academics, a thriving campus with activities which encourages the individual growth holistically.
