Rooted in the vibrant energy of Indian spice bazaars, the collection celebrates cultural exchange through color, craft, and craftsmanship. Bagru-inspired prints, handwoven cottons, and reinterpreted traditional motifs reflect India's artistic legacy, while fluid silhouettes blend Indian and global influences. Karvaan tells a story of discovery, movement, and transformation, where textiles become a bridge between cultures and traditions.

KARVAAN

Karvaan draws inspiration from the historic journeys of travellers who arrived in India seeking its prized spices but discovered something far more enduring—its rich textile heritage, handcrafted fabrics, and vibrant artistry. Through centuries of trade and cultural exchange, Indian textiles travelled beyond borders, influencing global aesthetics and creating a dialogue between tradition and modernity.

The collection takes cues from the bustling energy of India's spice bazaars, where colors, textures, aromas, and movement come together to create a unique sensory experience. The warm reds of chilies, earthy browns of spices, deep greens, and muted ochres form the foundation of the color palette, reflecting both the marketplace and the natural landscape.

Rooted in Bagru-inspired craftsmanship, the collection incorporates handwoven cottons, traditional motifs, and artisanal surface techniques. Floral and symbolic motifs are reinterpreted through contemporary compositions, representing the evolution of craft through cultural interaction.

The silhouettes balance structure and fluidity, featuring voluminous forms, gathered details, layered garments, and relaxed proportions. Influenced by both Indian and global dressing traditions, they embody movement, adaptability, and exchange.
