NIFT Bhopal was established in the year 2008. The Centre started functioning from a Transit Campus situated in MP Bhoj (Open) University, Kolar Road, in the heart of Bhopal city. The Centre has shifted to its splendid permanent campus, in March 2022, sprawling over 29 acres of land, resplendent with lush greenery and non-polluting ambience.

The Centre is strategically located 20 kms from Bhopal Jn. and 10 kms from Raja Bhoj International Airport, Bhopal.
