76th Republic Day Celebrations at NIFT Hyderabad

NIFT Hyderabad celebrated Republic Day 2025 on 26th January with great enthusiasm< and patriotic fervor. Various events were organized to mark the occasion. The celebrations began with the hoisting of the Tricolor by Director Prof. Dr. Malini Divakala, in the presence of Joint Director Dr. Prithwiraj Mal, Campus Academic Coordinator Prof. Ram Mohan Rao, faculty members, staff, and students. Following the flag hoisting, the newly elected club secretaries formally received their appointment letters.

Additionally, winners of the Hindi Pakhwada competition were felicitated with certificates.

Post-ceremony, students showcased their talent through cultural performances, filled with energy and enthusiasm. The highlight of the event was a socially relevant Nukkad Natak (street play), which captivated the audience with its strong message. Several activities were conducted throughout the day: ESEE and Sports Clubs organized an eye check-up camp and a cricket tournament, where faculty and staff competed against students. The Film Club hosted a special screening of a patriotic movie in the post-lunch session. The Republic Day celebrations at NIFT Hyderabad reflected the spirit of unity, creativity, and social awareness, making it a memorable event for all.
