The much-awaited annual festival of NIFT, the Fashion Spectrum 2019, concluded recently at NIFT, Chennai. Like at all other campuses, the festival drew industry members, faculty members and students from both NIFT and other colleges of repute. Brimming with enthusiasm, the fest witnessed excited participation of students in design competitions, debates, workshops, dramatics and cultural performances. The highlight of the event at the Chennai campus was ‘Inclusive Spectrum’, on 21 February 2019. It was an initiative with the intent to mainstream the creative passions of special children, by providing them with a platform. It was a day dedicated to cultural events involving special children of ten institutions for children with special needs, from across Chennai. The day was packed with exuberant performances of the talented kids. The Chennai campus of NIFT was charged with their infectious energy that won hearts! The fun-filled day was interspersed with snacks, lunch and gifts for the children. Their talent, their smiles and their raw drive made the festival a huge success!
