The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Shillong signed a momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the  Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong on the 05^th May 2022.

The MoU, with an initial tenure of five years, will foster professional growth in the fields of design and management education at both national and international levels, and also has the potential for promoting multidisciplinary learning as per guidelines of the National Education Policy 2020. The key areas of collaboration, knowledge sharing and joint activity cover:

·       Faculty/ Infrastructure/ Resource Centre Sharing

·       Student Exchange Programmes

·       Joint Student Field Trips

·       Faculty Training

·       Sharing of Mentors/ PhD guides

·       Joint Projects

·       Joint Research and Publications

·       Sharing of Foreign Experts

·       Promotion of Design & Management Education and

·       Co-participation in seminars, workshops and conferences
