Course Brief:

  • Western Casuals - Styling would be an appropriate course for youngsters and for anyone
    who aspire on Apparel Fashion. The course blurs the boundaries and extends the circle to
    explore what’s in trend every now and then by focusing on style, silhouettes, components
    and fabrics of Western Casuals and the mode of styling based on current trend.

Material requirement :

1. Artist sketch book / loose sheets (10-15 nos approx)

2. Colors - any available medium ( wax, pencil,  water colors, poster colors / acrylics)

3. General stationary- pencil,  erasers,  ruler, paint brushes, palettes etc..

4. Around 3 -5 western casual garments from wardrobe (Menswear or women's wear, any garments like tops, skirts, pants, jackets etc.. )

Dr.K.Murugajothi is an Associate Professor in Fashion Design Department, NIFT Chennai who has done Bachelors and Masters in Fashion and Textiles respectively and had completed PhD in Textile Dyeing. She holds a strong competency in handling Apparel fashion based subjects at the Institution and holds a specialisation on working with fabric combinations based on their properties and behaviour.

  • Duration:  19th to 30th July 2021 (05 Days - a week)
  • Date & Timings: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm
  • Eligibility:  15 years & above (any graduate)
  • Fee(Rs.):  Rs. 15,000/-  +  GST
