Course Brief:

  • The programme will provide hands on experience to explore the texture, patterns and subsequent artworks by using the materials in and around us. The workshop addresses practical participatory considerations about how to structure hands-on inspirations and interactive art in a way which is accessible to participants of varying experience and abilities, and how effective the approach is in enabling participants to tell their own stories and feel in control of the design and making process.

  • Pens (Black/Blue)

Ms.Saradwati Datta is an Assistant professor associated with Textile Design department . She Began her creative journey and training in Textile Design at NIFT Chennai followed by NID Ahmedabad. The bedazzling transformation of a tactile material to an inspiration for the future, as a material culture, has taught her to look at the past, present and future and connect dots. Even though digital data is taking over the planet, the only thing that keeps her grounded and humble is while working with our hands and the joy of creating something from scratch.
