Bawan Buti saree weaving originates from Nepura, Bihar, and features 52 repeating motifs. Artisans hand-extract natural silk threads directly from Tassar and Kosa silk cocoons, and these hand-spun yarns are woven on traditional looms to create intricate patterns, including the iconic Bawan Buti style.
