CoEK works with Khadi Institutions (KIs) to strengthen their ability to design, produce and market high-quality products. It also brings forward the stories behind craft practices, highlighting the skills, processes and people that shape each product.
Design Intervention
We are committed to shaping a new narrative around khadi and highlighting its processes and craftsmanship. We promote design, innovation and experimentation across fabrics, apparel, saris, accessories and home furnishings through product development, capacity building, research and communication.

It is actively involved in revitalizing the Khadi India brand, particularly through the transformation of Khadi India stores, making them more aspirational and aligned with global trends. Operating on a hub-and-spoke model, CoEK is headquartered in Delhi, with regional centres in Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Panchkula and Patna
