Crochet is a portable needlecraft creating interlocking yarn loops using a single hook without machinery. It allows artisans to craft detailed, three-dimensional forms, soft toys, and textured handmade accessories entirely by hand.

This artisan cluster is located in Gholia Kalan village, Block Bagha Purana, within the Moga district of Punjab, India.

This collection features unique, handmade crochet soft toys—like bears, bunnies, lions, and snails— and accessories, including rattle rings, keychains, bookmarks, and hangings. Crafted in soft, colourful yarn, these lightweight pieces make ideal gifts, décor accents, and corporate giveaways.

Crochet spread through 19th-century Europe and reached India via colonial missionary schools. Historically used by Punjabi women for household items like lace edgings and baby clothes, it is now transforming into a design-led livelihood craft.
