Gaurav Kamboj, a NIFT Panchkula Textile Design graduate (2024), is the designer-founder of Colorsflare, Noida. With 1.5 years of experience, he collaborates with artisans to bring traditional Indian crafts into contemporary menswear, celebrating handmade techniques through modern silhouettes and innovative surface design.
Gaurav's craft journey began with Kantha embroidery during childhood. Growing up in Haryana, he developed a lasting connection with North Indian textile traditions, later deepened through design education and hands-on experimentation.
Colorsflare integrates Kantha, Dabu printing, appliqué, French knots and patchwork into contemporary shirts and jackets, reinterpreting traditional techniques through modern silhouettes, unexpected placements and handloom textiles.
Colorsflare is a contemporary menswear brand founded by Gaurav Kamboj, celebrating Indian craftsmanship through handmade surfaces, natural textiles and innovative patchwork while making traditional crafts relevant to younger consumers.
