LOCUS 2023 A Two-day Art Camp

NIFT Hyderabad hosted a two-day art camp called "LOCUS 2023" for its students on April 1st and 2nd, 2023, at IKIGAI Farms, Vikrabad.

The art camp was inaugurated by Shri Ratna Kiran, an architect working on sustainable concepts and owner of Penguin Lakeside Resort. He was accompanied by Prof. Avinash Raipally, Joint Director, and Prof. Ramakrishna K, Coordinator of LOCUS 2023. Prof. Manpreet Kushwaha, Prof. Naresh B, Prof. Priyadarshini Gopal, and Prof. Debashish Mondal.

67 students participated in the LOCUS 2023 art camp and expressed their creativity using the acrylic medium on a 2ft by 2ft canvas.

The outcomes of the camp were 32 beautiful artworks with diverse subjects that will enhance the campus beautification and inspire budding designers. Shri Vijay Kumar Mantri, IAS Director of NIFT Hyderabad, distributed participation certificates to all participants.
