The two-year Master of Fashion Management programme, offered by the Department of Fashion Management Studies, develops professionals for the business, management and strategic dimensions of the fashion industry. The curriculum integrates fashion marketing, merchandising, buying, retailing, sourcing, supply chain management, business analytics, brand and strategic management, global marketing, luxury fashion and entrepreneurship. Through research, workshops, cluster studies, an eight-week Fashion Industry Internship & Training (FIIT) and an 18-week Graduation Project, students connect managerial knowledge with industry practice. The programme prepares graduates to understand and navigate the interconnected functions of contemporary fashion businesses while developing analytical, strategic, global and entrepreneurial capabilities.

The Major provides an integrated foundation in fashion business management, progressing from functional knowledge to advanced strategic and global perspectives. Students engage with Managerial Economics, Fashion Business Research, Fashion Marketing, Fashion Materials and Production Management, Fashion Merchandising and Buying, Consumer Behaviour, Finance and Accounts, Fashion Retailing, Visual Merchandising, Export Merchandising, Business Analytics, Brand Management, Strategic Management, Global Marketing and Sourcing, Luxury Fashion Business, Supply Chain Management, and Entrepreneurship and Business Policy. Together, these areas develop an understanding of the economic, consumer, operational, strategic and global dimensions of fashion businesses.

The elective basket includes Sustainability in Fashion Industry, Design Thinking for Business Innovation, AI, Technology and Innovations in Fashion Industry, Digital & Social Media Marketing, E-Business Management, and Advanced Buying & Planning. These areas extend the programme's core managerial foundation into contemporary themes of sustainability, innovation, technology, digital business and specialised merchandising practices. Through focused learning, students can deepen their understanding of evolving business models and emerging developments across the fashion industry.
Interdisciplinary Minors (IDM)

The Department of Fashion Management Studies offers Entrepreneurship as an Interdisciplinary Minor (IDM) for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, with content structured according to the level of study. The undergraduate pathway progresses through Marketing & Retail Merchandising, Creative Thinking & Idea Validation, Management Concepts and Organisational Behaviour, Market Understanding and Finance, and Business Model, Business Plan & Pitch. The postgraduate pathway covers Entrepreneurship, Business Models and Success Stories; Business Environment, Idea Generation and Feasibility Testing; and Business Plan, Strategy & Project Report. Students enrolled in Fashion Management may, in turn, pursue Interdisciplinary Minors offered by other academic departments to broaden their learning beyond their primary discipline.
