National Institute of Fashion Technology, Panchkula organized a virtual orientation program for its new batch of UG and PG students on August 23-24, 2021. Keeping in mind the COVID-19 advisories, NIFT, Panchkula held an online orientation program to welcome students from across the country.

The orientation program was graced by honorable Secretary Textiles, Sh. U.P. Singh, G.O.I.& Chairman-BOG, Sh. Shantmanu, Director General-NIFT, Prof. Dr. Vandana Narang Dean NIFT, Prof. Dr. Amandeep Singh Grover, Director Nift Panchkula and all the faculty members. The students were given a warm welcome by the dignitaries and were congratulated for making it to NIFT via video message.

Various experts ( Mr. Swarup Dutta, Scenographer, Educationist, Stylist, Professional Photographer and Renowned Fashion Designer, Mr. Abhaya Gupta, Founder & Chief visionary officer, Nanya Inc., Mr. Nitin Prasad, Vice President-Global Supply Chain PVH Corporation, Ms. Ritu Jadwani , Founder/ Designer of Namaste NYC) from different backgrounds were also invited to share their experiences.

The event concluded on a high note with all the new faces aspiring for a successful association with the institution.
