NIFT Panchkula was privileged to receive a distinguished guest, Mrs. Rachna Shah, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, on the 28th of October, a Saturday. Her visit was accompanied by the esteemed presence of Shri Rohit Kansal, IAS, Director General, NIFT, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and Prof. Dr. Sudha Dhingra, Dean Academics, NIFT.

The esteemed delegation was greeted with a warm welcome by the dedicated NIFT Team, under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Amandeep Singh Grover, Director of NIFT Panchkula, and Joint Director Mr. Deepak Rana. The visit commenced with an informative tour of the NIFT campus, affording our esteemed guests the opportunity to witness firsthand the institute's cutting-edge facilities, state-of-the-art technology, and vibrant creative environment. Students representing various departments were enthusiastic to exhibit their talents through engaging displays, with a special tribute in the form of a play presented by students from the Textile Design Department, in honor of our distinguished guests.

The visit culminated with an address by Director NIFT, Prof.( Dr.) Amandeep Singh Grover, wherein he expressed his admiration for the exceptional efforts of our students, faculty, and staff in putting together a remarkable showcase. The event was skillfully anchored by Dr. Nikita, SDAC, Assistant Professor, MFM Dept., and Dr. Shikha Sharma, Assistant Professor, FC Dept. , who also serves as the social media coordinator for NIFT Panchkula.
