Brief Introduction –

Mr. S.A. Venkatasubramanian is an alumnus of NIFT, completed M.Sc. in Costume Design & Fashion & pursuing PhD. He has an Industry experience of 7+ Years in the field of Design, Merchandising & Quality Assurance. Passion for Design brought him to join NIFT, Raebareli in the year 2008 as an Academician in the Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories Department. He has worked as Project Coordinator & contributed in prestigious projects as Project Coordinator for Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation, Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission & worked as Project Implementing Team in Khadi & USTTAD Project (Upgrading the Skills and Training in Traditional Arts Crafts for Development). He has good knowledge and creative interest in the field of Home Decor & Fashion Accessories. Teaching Design Process, Material Manipulation, Fashion Accessories, Fashion Basics, Garment Construction, History of Costume, Home Decor Design projects etc. in Fashion & Lifestyle Accessories Department & Fashion Design Department at NIFT Raebareli.
