Student Startup and Innovation Policy of the state of Gujarat was launched by Education Department, Government of Gujarat. NIFT – Gandhinagar entered into an MoU with the policy’s central implementation nodal agency, Gujarat Knowledge Society to help in building innovation and pre-incubation eco-system on campus.

As part of the policy, we encourage, identify and support innovators in the Campus, and provide them support for creating Proof of Concepts (PoC), Industrial Design Rights and patents registration, and guidance through mentorship.
SSIP provides financial assistance to students for development of prototype, proof of concept and nurture their innovative idea through mentorship support
To avail these benefits students are invited to submit their application through form available here.
Students will be invited for presentation of their idea before the Institute Scrutiny Committee for further process.
