Handloom Week
2nd August to 8th August 2021
The country observed the 7th national handloom day on the 7th August 2021. NIFT Gandhinagar celebrated an entire week to commemorate handloom craft, its products and practitioners by organising a series of events, competitions, talks and seminars.
- The events ranged from live demonstrations on campus to online seminars, panel discussions and participation in national handloom events.
- The activities started from the 2nd August 2021 and continued till the 8th August 2021, relating to handloom craft as well as spinning.
