Books and Periodicals

Print resources in the Resource Centres (RCs) comprise published Indian and international literature on theory of design, history of costume, regional textile and craft traditions; apparel trade and industry. The collections of books in all the libraries have titles on contemporary fashion, iconic fashion designers, history of Design and Fine arts of India and abroad. The libraries also have rich collections of latest publications on garment manufacturing technology and management.

RCs at NIFT have been offering access to the dynamic world of periodical literature on fashion in both print and digital media. Selective editions of popular international fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Collezionni, etc are available in print. All the libraries of NIFT also subscribe to recommended periodicals published in India and abroad on areas of study such as, business of fashion, art and crafts; fashion merchandising and management.
