NIFT Patna Incubation Cell

(Under Bihar Start-up Policy, 2017)

NIFT’s Vision is to emerge as a centre of excellence and innovation, proactively catalysing growth of fashion business through leadership in professional education with concern for social and human values. NIFT Patna, in order to abide by and carry forward the NIFT’s Vision, has started incubation cell. The cell aims at promoting Fashion, Lifestyle and related businesses by providing them mentoring support. NIFT Patna is a State supported host institution under erstwhile Bihar Start-up Policy 2016, later known as Bihar Start-up Policy, 2017. NIFT Patna currently has 03 start-ups who have received final approval for funding under Bihar Start-up Policy, 2017. Apart from them, there are 22 other applications received by NIFT Patna.

In order to support and enable the start-ups, NIFT Patna has identified an enclosed area of 4000 sq ft in its campus. This enclosed space is to be developed as a co-working space for start-ups which would receive incubation from NIFT Patna. NIFT Patna plans to provide a motivational workplace where these start-ups can utilise common facilities on need-to-need basis. It would have modern open design, open work stations, meeting rooms, conference room, Display area for the products, High Speed Wi-Fi, photo copy and printing, R & D labs, lounge for visitors and recreational avenues to provide a healthy atmosphere.

NIFT Patna also has various in-house experts to mentor businesses from different spheres of Fashion, Lifestyle and related sectors.
