A message from the Chairperson for the Textile Design (TD) graduating batch

The Textile Design department at NIFT strives to address the challenges of the fashion and textiles industry by preparing creative, capable, and committed professionals with a strong orientation to the working of the industry. The Graduation Project is a testimony to the integrated academic learning in a real-time environment.

My heartfelt congratulations to the Textile Design Batch of 2021.  Forever, people will recognize the Class of 2021 as a special group of students who faced a great challenge. In such a tumultuous year, the students have persevered, did not let anything stop them from coming out with creative design collections.
Congratulations to our young graduates, This is just the beginning; you are a star in the making. Shine on. I know you will excel in the industry.

I extend my wholehearted gratitude to the industry sponsors for supporting our students during these extraordinary times and assisting them to complete the final collections.
