Resource center is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of DVD / CD-ROMs, online databases, micro films, slides, audio-video cassettes, designer garments, materials, accessories, books, e-books, journals, e-Journals & project reports etc.  It is functioning with an objective of providing physical and intellectual access to the information resources consistent with the present and the anticipated needs of the faculty members and students, in order to promote educational excellence in the field of design, technology, and management at NIFT.

Resource Centre uses e-Granthalaya, an integrated multi-lingual library management software, developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) for collection management and offering numerous information services. It includes features such as Union catalogue, Web OPAC, Advanced search, Article Index, Barcode based circulation and Cloud Ready Application. New upgradation as cloud version providing email & Mobile alert to member for circulation of books
