Curtain Raiser to the International Conference ‘Rediscovering Culture: Transforming Fashion’
With the aim of initiating a conversation on fashion, culture, textiles, crafts and sustainability and as a prelude to the NIFT International Conference, NIFT hosted a Bloggers meeton 6th December, 2017 at NIFT. The preview involved an engaging panel discussion in the presence of keynote speaker David Abraham and NIFT’s star alumni- Ms Sunita Shanker, Mr Suket Dhir, Mr Sanjay Garg, Ms Pratima Pandey, and Ms Swati Kalsi. Some of the major journalists/bloggers who participated in the event included Ms Shefali Vasudev (The Mint), Ms Arushi Parakh (Harper's Bazaar), Ms Eba Syeda (The Millenium Post), Ms Rosy (Images Business of Fashion), Mr Karan Bharadwaj (Born of Web), Ms Mayuri Saini (Womens Wear Daily), Ms Mridula Sharma, Ms Shahnaz Hussain, Ms Deepa Kumar, Ms Isha Ghakkar (Beauty Launchpad Magazine) Ms Supriya Himanshu, Mr Prabhav Gautam.
