As a prelude to the conference, ‘Rediscovering Culture: Transforming Fashion’, NIFT collaborated with CMYK to host a curtain-raiser at CMYK bookstore on January 17, 2018. Ms Jaya Jaitly and Ms Harmeet Bajaj shared their views on subjects such as sustainability, co-creation, technovation and craft identities and highlighted the possible take aways from the NIFT Conference. DG-NIFT , Ms. Sarada Muraleedharan, Dean - Prof  Dr. Sharmila Dua and senior faculty members that included Sr Prof Dr. Banhi Jha, Prof  Dr. Sudha Dhingra, Prof Dr. Noopur Anand, Dr Dimple Bahl participated and briefed the media about the different sessions at the Conference.
