At NIFT we believe that every action creates a ripple that multiplies and spreads. As soon as students realized the magnitude of the devastation in Kerala, they swung into action and planned collection drives across all NIFT campuses. Over 2 weeks 150+ cartons full of food, clothing, medicines, daily supplies and stationery were collected and delivered to collection points. It was heartwarming to see each individual, no matter whether a student, faculty or staff, contributing and joining hands to make this possible. A Contribution of Rs.16,50,059 was made jointly by NIFT officers, faculty and staff to the CM’s Distress Relief fund. Positive responses were received from friends, family, and neighbors as well.
