In a philanthropic gesture, NIFT, Chennai hosted an exhibition of paintings by children from relocated families in Kannagi Nagar slum tenements. The proceeds from the sale-cum-exhibition, inaugurated by Chennai city Police Commissioner A.K. Vishwanathan, were utilized for the construction of toilets in a government school in Kannagi Nagar.
