Dr. Shikha Gupta is Assistant Professor with the Department of Fashion Management Studies. She is a Ph.D in Management and Master of Fashion Management (NIFT- Bangalore). Passion for research in fashion brought her to join NIFT in the year 2012 at NIFT, Jodhpur. She has worked in the industry briefly before switching to the academic field and has been an academician for more than 14 years now. She has successfully completed her tenure as CAC of Jodhpur campus in January 2026 and is currently the Link CAC.

She specialises in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Planning & Buying, Brand Management, Export Merchandising, Fashion Retail Management, Visual Merchandising & Luxury Brand Management. She has several Publications in the area of fashion management in national & International Journals. She has also done Certification programmes in Brand Management: Aligning Business, Brand & Behaviour (London School of Business, University of London), Marketing in Digital World (GIES College, Illinois University at Urbana-Champaign) & Branding and Customer Experience (IE Business School, Madrid- Spain).
