Mr. Naresh Bathula is an assistant professor in fashion communication department, he specializes in Visual Communication, with expertise in painting, animation, motion graphics, graphic design, and visual storytelling. With over six years of teaching experience and seven years of professional industry practice, he brings a blend of academic and creative expertise to design education. Before joining NIFT Hyderabad in 2022, he served as a faculty member at various universities and held creative leadership roles, including Designer, Senior Visual Artist, Creative Design Manager, and Creative Director. He holds a Master's degree in Animation and Film Design from the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad.

His research and creative interests include visual storytelling, design pedagogy, publication design, cultural documentation, motion graphics, and interdisciplinary communication. As a visual artist, he has created over one hundred abstract artworks. His sponsored Master's project on Panchatantra stories explored scriptwriting, storyboarding, character design, and environmental layout. He also contributed to the Srujan publication for GI Day and the CHHAAP event, integrating cultural documentation and collaborative design into academic practice.

Mr. Naresh Bathula is committed to fostering creativity through process-driven learning, critical thinking, and collaborative studio practice. He mentors students in both traditional and digital media while encouraging experimentation, cultural awareness, and innovative problem-solving. His teaching approach bridges academic learning with industry practice, preparing students to become confident, socially responsible, and future-ready design professionals.
