"Chetna Lodhi is an Assistant Professor in the Textile Design Department at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bhopal. She has more than 5 years of experience . She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bhopal and a Master’s degree in Textile Marketing and Management from SVPISTM, Coimbatore. She has three years of teaching experience and two years of industry experience as a Textile Designer at GK Textiles, Tirupur.

She has published a research paper titled “Entrepreneurship Management Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (TUFS)” in IASET: Journal of Business and General Management.

Her academic and professional interests encompass Indian traditional textiles, textile heritage, weaving, dyeing, embroidery, surface ornamentation, and contemporary design. She is particularly interested in documenting Indian textile traditions and exploring their cultural significance through design education. Her teaching areas include Textile Heritage of India, Product Design, Digital Design and Communication, Art and Design Aesthetics, and Textile Technology. She integrates theoretical knowledge with practical and experiential learning. Chetna actively contributes to student mentoring, workshops, outreach programmes, and craft-based learning. Her work promotes sustainable design practices, innovation, creativity, and the preservation of India’s rich textile traditions through contemporary design approaches and education.
