Nikesh Hiralal Nagdeote, a student at NIFT-Mumbai, won the first prize of Rs 10,000 and an award at the Young Social Innovation competition organized this year by Rotary Club, Panvel. He won it for the development of a sustainable process for extraction of fiber from the rice/wheat stubble residue.
