Niteen Rangdal is an assistant professor in the Textile Design Department at NIFT Mumbai, bringing over 16 years of teaching experience in art and design education. He teaches Design Fundamentals, Drawing, Material Studies, Print Design Techniques, Elements of Textile Design, and Art and Design Aesthetics, with a strong emphasis on fostering creativity, visual thinking, and design sensitivity among students. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting and a Master of Fine Arts in Portraiture from Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai.

Ms. Neena Shashikant Lokare is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Mumbai. With over twenty-two years of combined industry and academic experience, she specialises in technical draping, fashion styling, Indian textiles, sustainable fashion, and design pedagogy. She teaches undergraduate courses, mentors students through experiential learning, and serves as the Student Development and Activities Coordinator (SDAC) at NIFT Mumbai.
Dr. Susmita Das is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fashion Communication at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Mumbai, where she has been serving since 2007. She currently is incherge of the Corporate Communication Cell and has over 22 years of experience in academia. Her areas of expertise include Art and Design History, Clothing History, Aesthetics, Visual Culture, Storytelling, and Branding. Before joining NIFT, she taught as a guest faculty member at several reputed art and design institutions.
Abhishek Bajaj serves as an Assistant Professor in the Knitwear Design Department at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai. With a core objective of bridging the gap between traditional techniques and cutting-edge technology, he empowers students to push the boundaries of textile and knitwear design. His primary domain expertise encompasses flat knitting, computerized and circular knitting technologies, fabric objective measurement, quality assurance for knits, and performance fabrics.
Vimal Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Technology at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Mumbai. He holds a Master's degree in Fashion Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology. He has expertise in apparel manufacturing, lean manufacturing systems, and production process optimization, with significant industry experience in formal and casual suit manufacturing.
Ms. Suruchi Banerjee Dhasmana is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion Communication Department at NIFT, Mumbai. She earned a Master’s degree in Fashion Design from Nottingham Trent University, U.K., after graduating from NIFT, Delhi, in 2003. Specializing in apparel design, UI/UX, and technology-enhanced pedagogy, she brings extensive overall professional and academic experience. Previously, she designed apparel for prominent Indian domestic brands as well as European and American commercial export markets.
Dr. Akanksha Nautiyal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Textile Design at NIFT Mumbai. She is a textile academic and researcher with over seven years of teaching and research experience, working at the intersection of design, science, and sustainability. Her expertise spans textile processing, innovative textiles, world textiles, and sustainable textile systems, integrating scientific research with design innovation. She earned her Ph.D.
